Leg. Polhill, R. Nº 1714. Wooded valley. Growing in small clumps to 3 ft. tall; rhizomes and basal leaf sheaths pinky brown, especially on the veins. Glumes red-brown, shading through yellow to the green keels; filaments white, anthers cream.
