Distribucion y Habitat
Distribution: Argentina, from Patagonia north to San Juan Province through the Andes [85 AGS AGW]. Etymology: From the Latin sub-, close to, referring to the fact that most populations of the species occur in the Patagonia immediately north of Tierra del Fuego (Wheeler 2006). Notes: Previously confused with C. macrorrhiza and C. ecuadorica (Wheeler, 2006), species to which C. subfuegiana is similar.
